FAQ
What is an Ambient Act?
An ambient act is ideal for events when guests are mingling (cocktail hours, galas, etc.) and you want additional elements of entertainment happening around them. Ambient aerial work can be booked for longer sets multiple times within an hour.
What is a Main Event Act?
A main event act is a choreographed, high-energy act (4-6 minutes) performed in front of the whole event. If you want multiple main event acts within the hour, multiple performers will need to be booked.
Can you perform aerial entertainment in my venue?
We can perform aerial work in spaces that have suitable beams for rigging, or that have a large enough footprint for our portable rig or lollipop lyra. Rigging conditions will need to be assessed before the booking is confirmed. If the ceiling is riggable, we will need access to a lift or ladder to reach the rig points.
Are there any other aerial options if you can’t rig from the ceiling of my venue?
If the ceiling is not suitable for rigging, we can use our lollipop lyra (which has a base 5ft wide) or our portable rig. The portable rig can be set up at three different heights depending on available space; it requires a footprint of 18 ft x 18 ft for a height of 20 ft, a footprint of 16 ft x 16 ft for a height of 14.5 ft, and a footprint of 12 ft x 12 ft for a height of 12ft.

Apparatus Guide
Aerial Silks
A vertical apparatus that consists of two long fabrics rigged from a central point. Artists move through a combination of climbs, foot locks and wraps to create dance sequences while suspended in the air. Always a crowd favorite!
Lyra/Aerial Hoop
A circular metal hoop. Artists flow around this apparatus via a series of poses, and the apparatus really comes to life when it spins. Can be rigged from a lower height, and is ideal for champagne pouring services.
Lollipop Lyra
A metal hoop attached to a standing pole fixed to a solid floor base. This apparatus marries lyra and pole moves – artists incorporate poses, flows and climbs from both apparatuses. Ideal for settings with limited space or unriggable ceilings, and a perfect choice for champagne pouring services.
Hooping
Artists manipulate lightweight plastic hoops into a dance flow on the ground.
Aerial Hammock/Sling
A single aerial silk rigged as a loop from a single central point. Our artists alternate between strong poses and graceful sequenced wraps to move up and down the loop. Can be rigged from a lower height, and is ideal for champagne pouring services.
Aerial Rope
A vertical apparatus featuring one long rope. Like aerial silks, artists climb and wrap, but due to its minimalist nature, rope highlights strength moves and dynamic swings.
Chair Acrobatics
Watch our artists defy gravity using just a chair – this act is a combination of dance and acrobatic balancing, and it's perfect for venues with limited stage space or low ceilings.
Pole
A single chrome pole fixed onto a solid floor base that can alternate between a static or spinning setting. Artists use climbs and
tension-based poses to create dance sequences. Ideal for settings with limited space available or unriggable ceilings
Aerial Bartending
Suspended above your guests, our ABC-licensed artists serve your beverage of choice from their signature aerial apparatuses. This service is available for lyra, lollipop lyra, and aerial hammock.
Isis Wings
Isis Wings make a big impact when it comes to ambience –this beautiful prop is a great option for event spaces that do not support aerial performances.
Silk Fans
Dreamy and ethereal, silk fans can be performed in any space, and they are an excellent way to engage with a crowd.

La Reine the Thrill wows audiences with her death-defying sword-swallowing and human blockhead acts – a true sideshow star.
Fire
SG collaborates with the fire artists of Pyroglyphics to bring audiences spell-binding acts that include: fire eating, fire fans, dragon staff, fire headdresses, rope dart, and more.
Cyr Wheel
Kinetic Kristen commands the cyr wheel, a large metal hoop that spins on its axis to create a gyroscopic effect for the audience. This apparatus requires a large performance area and a non-slip floor.
